Clemson University commissioned James Rasheed to write a play about their founder Thomas Green Clemson. The play will be performed in honor of the bicentennial celebration of the year of Clemson's birth.

May 22, 2005, there was a reading of James Rasheed’s latest play, Mama Mamie's Departure starring Shirley Sarlin, Annette Clark, Millie Ballenger and Rodney Bogan. Directed by Donna Whitmore-Sexton. Centre Stage-South Carolina.
In fall 2004, the South Carolina Repertory Company presented Professional Skepticism. Their traveling production was seen in Indiana, South Carolina, and Massachusetts!
Bentley College published an article about a business ethics discussion panel in which Rasheed participated.
